Violet is dead...
Welcome to my second review this time it’s on Violet, the other doll from the Twisted Love series.
Violet was released early this year (2010) to celebrate Valentines, like Rose, Violet has a special color coffin, and hers is blue.
Something I love is when living dead dolls have the dead look, and from the first time I saw Violet on the promo pictures I knew she was going to be one of my favorite dolls because of that, Violet has that corpse look that I love on a doll.
Her outfit is practically the same as Rose but in blue instead or red, the blue and black dress with a big black bow on the back, white socks, black shoes, and a black and blue hair bow, I had the same problem with the bow as with Rose and solve it the same way, but also the black paint on her hair bow begun to fall, the haircut is the same as Rose but the black hair is a lot more thin.
The paint on her is really awesome, she has this grey lines all over her face that gives a creepy effect, her eyes are different, while one is a white circle that looks evil, the other one is blue looking up more like a dead person eye, her mouth is painted in a weird way that makes her mouth look open enough to show her teeth, under her cheeks she have some black paint that makes a deader effect on her face, a lot of people don’t like it and would prefer a new mold for that, but I love how they make them look different with just paintwork, this black paint gets unnoticeable with the black hair if you comb it in front of it.
Most Violet dolls I have seen have two black lines between her eyebrows, mine doesn’t have them, she have dirty marks and black lines all over her legs and arms, black dirt on her fingers, and her undies are blue.
Like almost every doll she comes with a death certificate, and she comes with a cool heart shaped necklace with the living dead dolls logo in red, visible when she is sealed because she is wearing.
Combined with Rose’s dagger necklace you can combine them and wear them.
Violet is a doll that I love to dead! She looks so evil and dead at the same time that was impossible for me to not falling in love with her. Worth every single dollar, one of my all time favs!.

Twisted Love: Rose
Rose is red...
Hi guys and welcome to my first Living Dead Dolls review. I decided after a lot of thinking that the perfect doll to start this was Rose, well hope you like it.
Rose is an exclusive doll released early this year (2010) as a Valentine’s exclusive doll. She was released along with Violet as part of the Twisted Love series. They are both based on a popular poem.
Well she is a really cool doll, that’s why I choosed her to start my reviews, she has this innocent girl look that combines perfectly with the evil expression on her face, she comes in a special red coffin.
The haircut is nice, when sealed it comes all messy I like that, she looks crazier that way. Now I had problems with the Hair bow. The way it is originally set is kind of weird, the Bow’s band has velcro and a plastic band to prevent it to fall out of place. When I took her out of the box and combed her hair, It came off, and I couldn’t take it back so I placed the band behind her ears and in front of the neck.
The dress is simple but Works on her giving her the little girl look. It has a big black bow on the back and as the hair bow, the dress is red and black. Her socks are white and the shoes are black I wish they had made the shoes red, like in the promo pictures.
The paint on her is a really classic LDD looking, the black shadow around the eyes, which have this evil look, the red lips that looks so cute. She has black painted nails and her undies (I have seen some collectors curious about this detail of the dolls) are painted red.
The greatest detail of this doll is that she is blood splattered. she have blood splats all over her body and some tiny splats on her face, she always looks like they painted more one side of the doll than the other, an interesting fact is that all the Rose dolls I have seen have a different amount of blood.
As for accessories she comes with a Death Certificate, like the one most of living dead dolls comes with, and when sealed, she is wearing a necklace with a dagger that you can wear. It looks really cool to see her with it where you can see it instead of inside of the box where most of accessories come in, Is like having a nice jewelry box.
You can combine the dagger necklace with the heart necklace that Violet comes with, which looks really cool once it’s combined.
Rose is a great doll and I really like her, those evil eyes are hard to resist!. Thanks for Reading and hope you guys have enjoyed this. Please comment. I leave you with Damien Glonek’s comment about Rose:
“Rose was an idea for a Valentine's Day two pack and we worked it off of the poem Roses are red, violets are blue and just put the LDD twist on it, with Rose is Dead, violet is too or Rose is blood red. So Rose was worked into red as not the color of red roses, but of blood. Rose murdered Violet, hence why Rose is covered in blood and Violet is more of a decayed looking corpse.”
8++ Special thanks to Damien Glonek to cooperate with this project and to Dan Quiroz for helping me with a lot of stuff, this review is dedicated to Ed & Damien for creating this awesome dolls and to my BFF thanks for everything. ++8
